Aromi privacy policy.

1. Account and preferences

We use the Google data needed to identify you and sign you in, such as your identifier, name and email. We process the information you provide in your profile, including nickname, date of birth, gender and lifestyle when completed, along with your collection, favorite perfume, fragrance preferences, saved combinations and wear logs. Your device's time zone lets us group your calendar and calculate streaks by local day; it does not require location access.

This data lets us manage your account, organize perfumes, personalize recommendations, manage free and Premium features and prevent abuse through usage limits.

2. Conversations and artificial intelligence

To answer your questions, we send Google Gemini the conversation text and relevant context, such as your collection, preferences and candidate perfumes. Do not include sensitive information in chat.

Aromi uses Gemini API through a billing-enabled project. Under the terms of its paid services, Google does not use prompts and responses to improve its products; it may retain them temporarily for security and abuse prevention. Read the Gemini API terms.

3. Location and weather

If you allow location access, we obtain your current coordinates to retrieve the weather through Aromi's API and WeatherAPI.com and offer related recommendations. You can deny or withdraw permission in your phone's settings. The reviewed feature obtains your current position; it does not continuously track you in the background.

4. Notifications

Reminders are optional and scheduled locally on your device when you enable them and allow notifications. You can choose a time and turn them off in Settings or on your phone. The daily reminder is skipped when the app already knows you logged a perfume that day; logs from another device are recognized when data is synced.

5. Ads and rewards

The free version integrates Google AdMob. Its SDKs may process device and advertising identifiers, IP addresses and ad interaction information under Google's privacy policy. Where applicable, consent choices are presented through Google's privacy system.

Rewarded ads are optional. To verify the extra message, Google receives an internal user identifier and a reward ticket; the email is not used as a reward identifier. Transactions and consumption are recorded to prevent duplicates and enforce limits.

6. Public information

You can control the visibility of your profile and collection in Settings. A public profile shows your nickname and social stats. If you share your collection, the web link shows its size, up to three preview perfumes and your favorite, if selected. Signed-in users can view the full visible collection. Hiding your collection also hides your favorite. Your Google name, email, date of birth, gender, lifestyle, wear history and streaks are not part of your public profile. A private profile is no longer available through its link. You can review what you share before sending the link.

7. Providers and security

We use OVHcloud for hosting, Google for authentication, AI and ads, WeatherAPI.com for weather and Sentry for error diagnostics when configured. These providers may process data outside your country. The current server is in the United States. API communication uses HTTPS and local credentials are stored in the device's secure storage.

Sentry reports may include technical device or app information, version, error stack traces and diagnostic context. The configuration limits personal information and excludes credentials, request bodies and coordinates from backend requests. We do not use session recordings or performance traces. 8. Retention and deletion

We retain account data and content while you keep your account in order to provide the service. You can download your data, update your profile or delete your account in Settings. You can also email requests to access, correct or delete your data.

Deletion removes the credentials and personal content handled by the deletion process and anonymizes the profile. Some technical usage and transaction records are retained without the profile's identifying data for service control. Backups may retain earlier data until rotation and are used for recovery with restricted access.

9. Age

Aromi is intended for adults aged 18 and over. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact Aromi support to review the account and arrange its deletion.

10. This website and changes

This informational website does not include ads, third-party analytics, signup forms or advertising cookies. The server may log technical visit information, such as IP address and requested path, for security and diagnostics. An email link opens your email client and does not send a request automatically.
